What is behind your choice of forum user name?
by stuckinarut2 injust curious how we all think.. what prompted or influenced your choice of username for this forum?.
there are some really amazing names, and it would be great to hear the stories behind them.... mine was nothing fancy.
i just felt "stuck in a rut too" along with so many others.

He TOOK THIS NARK IN when she was going through a spiritually weak time (leading a double life, etc), provided her with employment and privacy when she'd confide in him and his wife. Then THE SECOND she caught a whiff of his critical thinking by trolling through his computer's browser history (when she should have been using it for work purposes), she HEROICALLY reports him and is hailed as a brave, young sister who is now making big strides within the organization. Her resume includes a cameo on the Broadcast, a bethelite spouse and a degree in backstabbing. Bravo, sister. Bravo.

It kills me the way I've seen my elderly parents put more than half of their pension EVERY WEEK in the contribution box (a tradition I've Witnessed since I was a little girl) and even more when it's assembly time. My father has a discrete envelope of cash in his suitcase where he puts $20 a week aside in the MONTHS leading up to an assembly. How it hurts my soul when I see WT so carelessly throw away my parents' money for not showing up at court or cooperating with the judges, or for settling sex abuse cases for millions. I have to stop typing because my blood just reached boiling point.

The denial of 1975 when and how did they go about it.
by Crazyguy ini was pretty young in 1975, all i remember was a few complaining at the hall after and those at the door that razed us over it.
does anyone remember how they went about denying it and when this started.
i do remember a scripture in psalms about people being mighty and living longer so this was used.

@Vidiot I watched it with my JW filter on and already tuned out after I saw the depiction of one human leader. "We serve Jehovah! The Governing Body are just humble servants - they're hardly 'at the top'" my inner cult identity shouted in defense of the organization. Indoctrinated Witnesses can't see basic, irrevocable evidence when it stares them in the face. What chance do they have when it comes to applying secular material to their own organization? The only time they'd accept anything from the outside is if the Governing Body chews it first then vomits it into the members' mouths. THEN they'll swallow it gratefully.

by The Searcher in....................then you couldn't have been "in the truth" nor was "the truth in you" until july 2013, because that month's watchtower was dedicated to reversing the following 8 "truths" and replacing them with opposing "truths".
